Who we are
Yebo Guest (yeboguest.com) is a guest intelligence, CRM and marketing platform for restaurants, operated by Yebo AI. This policy covers this marketing website. The Yebo Guest application at app.yeboguest.com has its own in-product privacy terms.
What we collect
We collect personal information in exactly two ways on this site:
- Forms you choose to submit — the contact form (name, email, message) and the newsletter signup (email). Both require your explicit consent checkbox before anything is sent.
- Usage analytics — Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this to understand how the site is used, not to identify you.
There is no other tracking, no advertising pixels, and no sale of data — ever.
Who processes it
Form submissions and newsletter contacts are processed and stored in HighLevel (GHL), our customer relationship platform, so our team can respond to you and (with your consent) send you the newsletter. Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics. We do not store your form data anywhere else.
Why we process it (POPIA lawful basis)
- Responding to your enquiry — with your consent, given when you submit the form.
- Sending the newsletter — with your consent, withdrawable at any time.
- Improving the site — our legitimate interest in aggregate, non-identifying analytics.
Your rights under POPIA
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (South Africa), you may at any time request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Unsubscribing from the newsletter takes one click in any email we send. To exercise any of these rights, use the contact form — we respond to every request. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
Retention
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and newsletter contacts until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
